Are you tender and nurturing to others but not so nice to yourself? This could be for a multitude of reasons; worthy and deserving limiting beliefs, or still holding on to the Healer’s Oath to name just a few. Whenever we’re faced with challenging circumstances we may start to spiral down. It’s sometimes difficult to just “be happy” when we are in the middle of processing something. But we can ALWAYS be grateful for a whole host of things and this immediately affects our vibration and shifts our energy upwards. Contrast doesn’t have to be a terrible thing because usually it makes us very aware of what we don’t want and then it pushes us to ask for help, get creative, resourceful and go within so we can find a way to feel better again. So practice gratitude for every little thing because that is one of the fastest and surest ways to nurture yourself.
