Is Your Perception and Interpretation Helping or Hindering You? Out of 100 responses to what people saw in coffee grounds there were over 60 different perceptions! If we can look at something abstract and create so many different possibilities, what do you think we do every day with all the words that are being said to us? With the scenarios we are witnessing? We perceive things the way we do based on our past experience and what we have learned to “keep us safe”. For example if you came from an angry family you may subconsciously be on the defensive all of the time and not even realise it! Once we can identify our subconscious beliefs and clear them we can free ourselves from dramatically misinterpreting a situation and also free ourselves from all of the wasted emotional energy around us reacting to something instead of consciously giving our attention to it.
