Are You Paying Lip Service To Getting Unstuck Or Are You ACTUALLY Practicing? First of all please STOP affirming “I’m stuck!” Any time you say I AM you are inviting that reality to stick with you. So be mindful of that. Everyone ought to wake up and meditate first thing, if you are not doing that, what ARE you doing? That sets you up for the day, but that alone is not practicing the work. Reading the odd spiritual self help book or attending an occasional class or talk will help to enlighten you, but PRACTICING is a daily way of life. People are triggered all the time which means that some person, or something that was said, or something that was seen stimulates a less than good feeling within, and instead of suppressing it or screaming about it, STOP right then and there and figure out WHY it upset you. The trigger is not often the actual problem, it’s the feelings that lay below it. Practicing is dealing with your stuff in the moment and getting yourself back into alignment, and keeping yourself there. Sometimes we may get pushed out of alignment and vent, but why choose to stay there any longer than absolutely necessary? Later in your own private time you can dig deeper and find out more specifically what was really going on, but IN THE MOMENT is when we can heal our deepest stuff.
