If you’re not moving along on your spiritual path as quickly as you think you ought to be, it could be because of a number of reasons.

But the main reason is consistency….or lack of it! In the beginning stages of our spiritual awakening, we read a book, take a class,  we have an inspired moment, we think, oh, that’s amazing! And we ruminate on that for a while…. and eventually fade back into our old process.

This might go on for years. Everybody has their own divine timing. So don’t beat yourself up about it.  But if your impatience is nagging at you….

When we are not being consistent it’s down to a lack of motivation at some level, which means there’s something in us that is out of alignment.  In other words, not healed.

Reading and thinking about personal development is not the same as actually practicing it.  Intending to meditate every day is not the same as actually meditating every day, even if it’s simply for five minutes.  That alone can change your life!

Are you grounded?  And, how do you know?  Maybe that’s something you need to actively do on a daily basis too.  I had to.  I was so busy flying around on my broomstick, much preferring to be adrift in the ethers rather than firmly planted on earth.

But we are humans living here on earth so we must choose to be here.  Actively grounding myself every day radically changed my life!

When you get triggered, do you stop whatever you’re doing, go within and find out what’s underneath that trigger? That practice alone can prevent a multitude of unnecessary arguments and/or suppressed anger with people.

Are you conscious of your thinking, right here, right now, in this moment, and in this one? It’s called Being In The Present!  Most of us go through our days unaware of the millions of often negative thoughts rambling through our brains.

If you really want to evolve, change your vibration consistently, and take the next leap, it means practicing awareness and quieting your mind every day.  That’s why it’s called a Spiritual Practice.

Dabbling here and there might give you some enlightenment, but it’s not going to help you move forward in leaps and bounds, consistently.

How much do you value your connection and alignment to source energy? How much do you want to feel joy all the time?

We are all the Creator of our own emotions, which inevitably become the vibrations we send out and attract back.

You can choose and practice spiralling down, or you can go up!  I know which way I’d rather go!
