Most people I speak to want to feel better in some way. They either feel discontented with their lives or unfulfilled or generally not happy in some aspect of their lives.
Maybe they’re full of shame. Maybe they’re feeling guilt or they’re angry or perhaps they just can’t quite put their finger on what it is that’s lacking.
In order to find out what’s missing from our life, we’ve got to know what kind of outcome we want to create in our life. You can think of a bit of both; what’s missing and what you want.
It’s a good idea to know what it is that triggers you and sets you off or how you generally feel because that gives you a framework in which to sort through the limiting subconscious beliefs that are holding you back in life.
Maybe you want to have more confidence or live free from overwhelm. Maybe it’s that guilt that you don’t even understand why you have resistance, always in the fight with something.
Knowing the things that you don’t want can really help you understand what it is that you do want.
So when you think about what kind of outcome, you can say, “I just want to feel amazing all the time!” Well, that’s great, but you need to get more specific. You need to chunk that down. What does amazing feel like for you? What is it? Do you get to sleep late every day? Does that make you feel good? Is it because you want the sun on your face more? Do you need more arms around you? Do you need more solitude or to be with more people?
What are the elements in your life that bring you joy? The more specific you can be, the better awareness of what you can call in, to manifest the outcome that you want to feel.
